College Basketball: Murray State fell on the road at Belmont last 80-65 at the Curb Center. Rob Perry led the Racers with 14 points followed by JaCobi Wood with 12 and Jamari Smith added 11. Murray State is now 10-9 overall and 5-4 in the Valley and return to action Saturday hosting Indiana State at 5 with pre game at 4:30 on Froggy 103.7

HS Basketball: Calloway County defeated Christian Fellowship 56-53 in girls action while the Lakers drubbed Christian Fellowship 87-38. NFL: The Tennessee Titans’ search for a new general manager is over. ESPN reports Ran Carthon was hired to become Tennessee’s GM yesterday. The former 49ers director of player personnel interviewed for the job last Friday and will take over for Jon Robinson who was fired back in November.
