
The Calloway County Sheriff’s Department arrested four people Friday on drug related charges in Murray. 29-year-old Jessie Casey, 36-year-old Alyssa Turpin and 44-year-old April Wilkins were all charged with trafficking in two grams or more of methamphetamine.
22-year-old Isaiah Maffett of Louisville is charged with possession of a handgun by a felon and possession of cocaine. All four were lodged in the Calloway County Jail.
Classes are set to resume in Marshall County today except for two schools that were among several that received water damage following freezing temperatures last month. Students at Central Elementary and Benton Elementary will return to school tomorrow.
A Benton man will stand trial in September for his role in the attack of the US Capitol in 2021.
