College Basketball:   Murray State’s women lost for the second straight time Sunday, falling at Drake 80-67.  Katelyn Young has a career high 43 points, which ties for the third most ever scored by a Racer in a game. It was also the most points scored by a player in a Missouri Valley Conference game since 2006.

The Racers fell to 9-4 and 2-2 in the Valley and are back in action Wednesday night hosting Belmont at 6 in the CFSB Center.  Pre game coverage begins at 5:30 on WNBS.

Meanwhile, the Racer men are still in Iowa to face Northern Iowa tomorrow night.  The Racers lost to Drake on Saturday.  Pre game coverage begins at 6:25 on Froggy 103. 7.  A reminder the Hey Coach show will air tonight at 6 also on Froggy 103.7.

HS Basketball:  Murray High’s girls are in action this evening in the 1st Region All A Classic hosting Fulton County.  Tip off from Taylor Gym at 5:30 with pre game at 5 on WNBS.

Calloway County’s boys won the Kentucky 2-A Section One tournament Saturday defeating Paducah Tilghman 66-58.  The Lakers will meet Section 3 winner DeSales Friday afternoon at 1:30 in the Owensboro Sports Center.

College Football:   Georgia is looking to hoist the National Championship title for a second season in a row when it squares off against underdog TCU in Inglewood tonight.  The top-ranked Bulldogs are coming off a 42-41 Peach Bowl victory over Ohio State.  Third-ranked TCU is coming off a 51-45 Fiesta Bowl victory over Michigan.  The Horned Frogs could be without their leading rusher Kendre Miller.  The running back is questionable with a knee injury.  14-and-0 Georgia kicks off against 13-and-1 TCU at 7:30PM Eastern.
