College Basketball:  The Hey Coach show with Murray State basketball coaches Steve Prohm and Rechelle Turner tape at noon today at the Big Apple Bar and Grill and will be replayed this evening at 6 on Froggy 103.7.

Both teams recorded big wins Friday night as the Racer men downed Austin Peay and the Racer women were winners at Kentucky.  The men’s team returns to action Wednesday night at Middle Tennessee with pregame at 5:30 on Froggy 103.7.  The women return to action tomorrow night at Bellarmine with pregame at 5 on WNBS.

Sunday action in the Missouri Valley saw UIC top Northeastern 81-73, Valparaiso defeated Elon 71-66, Belmont downed Chattanooga 83-79 in overtime and Missouri State crushed Central Michigan 79-58.

Tonight’s action has Illinois State hosting Chicago State and Bradley welcomes Stonehill.

HS Basketball:  Murray High’s boys are in action this evening hosting the Mayfield Cardinals.  Tip off is at 7:30 with pregame at 7 on WNBS.

In the first meetings of the season between Calloway County and Murray High Saturday night, the Lady Tigers defeated the Lady Lakers 39-34 and the Lakers won the boys game 50-34.

NFL:  The Tennessee Titans are on a four-game losing streak following a 17-14 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.  Tennessee tied the game at 14 when Ryan Tannehill scored a touchdown on a quarterback sneak with under a minute left in regulation.  However, the Chargers drove down the field and kicked a game-winning 43-yard field goal.

Derrick Henry rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown, and he led the team with 59 receiving yards.  Tannehill passed for just 165 yards and an interception.  The Titans lead the AFC South by just one game over Jacksonville at 7-and-7.  Tennessee hosts Houston on Christmas Eve.
