College Basketball:  The Hey Coach show with Murray State men’s coach Steve Prohm will be recorded at noon today at the Big Apple Bar and Grill and be replayed at 6 this evening on Froggy 103.7.

Murray State’s men’s and women’s teams return to action tomorrow evening at the CFSB Center.  The women welcome Austin Peay in the Battle of the Border game at 5, with pre game coverage at 4:30 on 104.5 WBZB.

The men-coming off Saturday’s loss to Bellarmine, welcome Chicago State.  Pre game coverage begins at 6:30 on Froggy 103.7.

In Missouri Valley action Sunday:  Men’s action saw Indiana State’s five game winning streak come to an end as Southern Indiana defeated the Sycamores 88-85 in overtime.

Women’s action saw Purdue down Illinois State 64-51.

Elsewhere:  7th ranked Tennessee edged 13th ranked Maryland 56-53 in the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational.

In the Missouri Valley this evening, men’s action has Northern Iowa hosting South Florida.

 NFL:   Trevor Lawrence threw for 368 yards and three touchdowns as the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Tennessee Titans 36-22 in Nashville.  Derrick Henry rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown in the losing effort, but also lost a pair of fumbles.  Tennessee wasn’t able to overcome four turnovers as the team dropped to 7-and-6.  The Titans hit the road to play the Los Angeles Chargers next Sunday.

NBA:  Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies are back in action this evening hosting the Atlanta Hawks in Memphis.

MLB:   The St. Louis Cardinals might still be looking to make a splash in free agency.  Reports indicate the Cardinals are one of the mystery teams interested in ace starting pitcher Carlos Rodon.  The 30-year-old went 14-and-8 with a 2.88 ERA with the San Francisco Giants last season.
