Tonight’s Games: Murray State opens Missouri Valley Conference

Women’s: Katelyn Young had a double-double with 31 points and
12 rebounds as Murray State defeated UT Martin on the road 71-52.
Macey Turley added 11 points as the Racers improved to 4-1.

HS Basketball: Girls action has Murray High hosting Trigg County at
7:30 with pregame at 7 on WNBS. Boys action has Calloway County
visiting Hopkins Central at 7:30 with pregame at 7:15 on WBZB.
HS Football: Teams begin heading to Lexington today for the
KHSAA state championship games that begin tomorrow. The
Mayfield Cardinals are in the Class 2-A game against Beechwood at
3 pm Central at Kroger Field.
The Class A game at noon Central has Pikeville meeting Raceland
and the Class 4-A game at 7 pm has Corbin meeting Boyle County.
The Class 3-A, 5-A and 6-A games take place on Saturday.
