There will be a storm shelter opening today at Racer Arena at 4 PM. This short-term shelter will be staffed by members of the Community Emergency Management Team. Racer Arena, also known as Cutchin Field House, is located at 14th and Payne Street on the Murray State Campus. The South East entrance is the preferred way to enter. If pets are brought they must be in a cage or properly muzzled. The shelter is a short-term shelter with drinking fountains and restrooms. Once the danger of severe weather has passed the shelter will be closed.
