Two Murray residents were arrested earlier this week on drug related charges by the Calloway County Sheriff’s Department. Authorities say a search warrant was served on Joshua C. Evans and Robert A. Steele at a Welch Drive residence. The two allegedly sold suspected Oxycodone pills which contained Fentanyl to undercover detectives over a seven day period.

Kentucky State Police are searching for a Wayne County woman, who has been missing since Monday, but was last seen in Hopkinsville. 45-year-old Amy Marie Green of Monticello is described as a white female with brown hair.

Green was last seen wearing black leggings and a white long sleeve t-shirt with breast cancer awaremess ribbons. She is also diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury and may be trying to return to Monticello. Anyone with information is aked to contact KSP at 270-676-3313.

Caldwell County officials have announced a water line will be sent to Fredonia that will connect the county’s water infrastructure together. According to WPKY Radio, the new line will provide a backup source for water in Fredonia. The improvement will also result in lower water bills for Fredonia customers.

Kentucky lacks political engagement. That’s according to a recent study released by finance website WalletHub. The study puts Kentuckians in 33rd place for states across the country when it comes to being engaged in politics. The research also showed a correlation between education levels and political engagement in the Bluegrass State.

High School Football: Thursday night action saw Hopkinsville down Hopkins Central 30-6.

Tonight’s games include Calloway County welcoming Logan County with pregame at 6:30 on WBZB. Murray High will take on Mayfield this evening with pregame at 6 on WNBS.

College Baskeetball:  A crowd of about 2,000 was on hand at the CFSB Center last night for Racermania for Murray State’s basketball teams.  The women host Bethel in exhibition action November 1st while the men welcome Brescia in preseason action November 2nd.

College Football: Murray State is back in action tomorrow at Lindenwood for a 1 pm kickoff with pregame at 12:30 on Froggy 103.7.

Other games tomorrow include third ranked Tennessee welcoming UT Martin, Vanderbilt visits Missouri and Louisville enterains Pittsburgh. Kentucky is off this week.

College Soccer: Murray State’s women lost 3-0 at Northern Iowa Thursday. The team will conclude regular season play tomorrow at Drake.

College Volleyball: Murray State begins a two game, two day Missouri Valley Conference home stand hosting Bradley this evening at 6 in Racer Arena. The Racers close out the home stand with a 3 pm match tomorrow against Illinois State.

NBA: Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies hit the road for the first time this evening as they play at the Houston Rockets.

NFL: The Tennessee Titans are back in action Sunday hosting the Indianapolis Colts at noon in Nissan Stadium.
