Cubs Playing Field of Dreams
The Cubs are getting a chance to play at the Field of Dreams in Iowa. NBC Sports Chicago reports the Cubs will face the Reds in next year’s Field of Dreams game in Dyersville, Iowa. The game will be played August 11th, 2022. It’ll be the second time two major league teams come to Dyersville for a regular season game. The White Sox and Yankees met for a nationally televised thriller last Thursday. The contest was the most watched regular season MLB game in 16 years
Cards Back Tonight
The Cardinals host the Brewers tonight for the start of a three-game set. Adam Wainwright takes the mound for St. Louis against Milwaukee’s Corbin Burnes. The Cards have won six straight.
Grizz Win Summer League Game
The Grizzlies picked up another summer league win, beating the Clippers 104-95. Shaq Buchanan led Memphis with 21 points and Sam Merrill added 20 points. Olivier Sarr chipped in with 18 points and 13 rebounds.
Titans Sign 3
The Titans are adding to their secondary. The Titans signed Bradley McDougald and Clayton Geathers. McDougald has been in the NFL since 2013 and Geathers spent four seasons with the Colts. Tennessee also re-signed special teamer Nick Dzubnar, who was on the team last season.
Preds Bring Back Saros
Juuse Saros is coming back to Nashville. The Predators signed Saros to a four-year contract worth 20 million dollars. The 26-year-old Saros had a .927 save percentage in 35 starts last year and took over the number one goalie spot midway through the season
