College Basketball:   The Murray State Racers return to Missouri Valley Conference play tonight at Illinois State.  The Racers won the earlier matchup in the conference opener 70-67 in overtime December 1st at the CFSB Center.  Tip off is at 7:02 with pre game at 6:25 on Froggy 103.7 and online at froggy103.com.

 Elsewhere in the Valley this evening:   Evansville visits Belmont, Bradley welcomes Missouri State, UIC entertains Indiana State and UNI hosts Drake.

Last night in the Valley:  Southern Illinois eased by Valparaiso 66-62.

 Elsewhere this evening:  Kentucky visits Mississippi State and 10th ranked Tennessee welcomes top ranked Alabama in SEC action while Louisville hosts 7th ranked Virginia in ACC play.

 Last night in the SEC:  Vanderbilt downed South Carolina 75-64.

 HS Basketball:  Murray High’s boys edged McCracken County 44-41 while the Lady Tigers were routed by the Lady Mustangs 77-28.  Calloway County’s Lakers fell 48-46 to Mayfield with no report on the girls game.

College Football:  Murray State announced Tuesday a couple of schedule updates concerning games with the University of Louisville.  The 2023 meeting between the Racers and Cardinals will now be played on Thursday, September 7th.  The teams will meet again in Louisville on September 16, 2028.  Both games will be played in the newly renamed L&N Credit Union Stadium in Louisville.

College Softball:  Murray State has received its first Missouri Valley Conference weekly honor.  Infielder Gracie Osbron was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week Tuesday.  Osbron was 8-15 at the plate last week in the Wildcat Classic at Abilene Christian which saw the Paris, TN native become the 14th player in school history to record four hits in a game, a 13-12 loss to host Abilene Christian.

Murray State returns to action Friday at the Trojan Classic at Troy University.  The Racers will meet Kennesaw State and host Troy on the first day.
