College Basketball:  The Murray State Racers lost to Drake for the second time this season, 92-68 at home last night.  Brian Moore, Jr. led the Racers with 17 points with Jamari Smith adding 11.  Murray State is now 13-12 overall and 8-7 in the Missouri Valley as they head to Bradley for a Saturday afternoon game.  Tip off is at 1 with pre game at 12:35 on Froggy 103.7 and online at froggy103.com.

Elsewhere last night:  Southeastern Conference action saw Arkansas upend Kentucky 88-73 and in the ACC Pitt routed Louisville 91-57.  Tonight’s action has in the SEC Tennessee visiting Vanderbilt.

HS Basketball:  Calloway County’s Lady Lakers lost at Crittenden County 77-48 with the Lakers falling at McCracken County 58-38.  Murray High’s Lady Tigers lost to Marshall County 49-45 while the Tigers won over the Marshals 63-50.

The next broadcast will be Thursday night when Murray High’s boys welcome Camden Central to Taylor Gym.  Coverage begins at 7 on WNBS.

College Baseball:  The Missouri Valley Conference released its preseason conference picks yesterday with Southern Illinois picked to win the league this season.  Murray State is selected ninth.  No Racers were selected to the All-MVC preseason team. Murray State opens the 2023 season beginning Friday at North Florida.  The Racers home opener is February 17th against UT Martin.

NBA:  Ja Morant had a game high 34 points as the Memphis Grizzlies ended a three game losing streak with a 104-89 win ocer the Chicago Bulls.  The Grizzlies host the Minnesota Timberwolves Friday ight.
