HS Basketball: The Murray High Tigers lost to Evangel Christian 65-43 in the opening round of the Boys All A State Tournament Thursday. The Tigers are back in action Tuesday night hosting Paducah Tilghman.
Neither Calloway County or Murray High are in action in boys or girls play this evening, but Murray High’s girls host Fort Campbell tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 in Taylor Gym, with coverage at 2 on WNBS.
College Basketball: Murray State’s women are in action this evening on the road at Evansville for a Missouri Valley matchup. Pre game coverage begins at 5:30 on WNBS . The Racers then travel to Missouri State for a Sunday game which tips off at noon with pre game at 11:30 am on WNBS.
Following Tuesday night’s tough loss at Southern Illinois, Murray State’s men return to action tomorrow afternoon hosting Missouri State at the CFSB Center. Tip off is set for 1 pm, with pre game coverage at 12:25 on Froggy 103.7.
Action in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge tomorrow has Kentucky hosting ninth ranked Kansas and fourth ranked Tennessee hosting 10th ranked Texas. Vanderbilt is in SEC action tomorrow hosting Texas A&M.
The Louisville Cardinals will try and snap a nine game losing streak tomorrow as they visit Notre Dame in ACC play.
NFL: A trip fo the Super Bowl is on the line Sunday as the NFC and AFC Conference championship games take place. The NFC title game features the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the San Francisco 49ers while the AFC matchup has the Cincinnati Bengals and Kansas City Chiefs for the second straight year. The winners face off early next month in the Super Bowl in Glendale, AZ.
