Calloway County Fiscal Court Emergency 911 and Murray Calloway County Hospital Emergency Services recently announced a partnership in mobile data terminals for Murray-Calloway County Hospital ambulances.

The MDT’s allow instant and constant communication between the Calloway County Sheriff’s Department, Murray Police Department and Murray-Calloway County Hospital Emergency Services.   Calloway County Fiscal Court 911 incurred the $8,000 cost for the software to support the MDT’s. Murray-Calloway County Hospital Emergency Services purchased the hardware for each ambulance, totaling $1,100 per unit.

A Princeton man was sentenced in federal court Monday in Bowling Green.  58-year-old Rodney Ware was arrested in Todd County in 2020 on meth charges and reportedly for having a shot gun.  Ware received eight years and nine months jail time and four years of supervised release.

Former Marshall County Circuit Court Judge Jamey Jameson has been suspended from practicing law in Kentucky.  That’s according to a report by WPSD which indicates the suspension is due to Jameson not paying his dues to the Kentucky Bar Association.  Jameson’s license will be restored once he pays his dues. Jameson has 30 days to appeal the suspension which was handed down last Friday.

The Murray Bank’s Tim Stark was recently awarded with the US Presidential Volunteer Service Award from Junior Achievement of Western Kentucky.  To be eligible for the award, the person must provide a minimum of 100 hours for the certifying organization. Stark received this Presidential recognition for his efforts during the past school year in Murray and Calloway County as a Junior Achievement classroom mentor, giving 150 hours of program instruction. Stark also serves as the local JA coordinator.
