College Basketball:  Murray State’s women’s team lead all but 58 seconds of last night’s 64-46 win over Belmont atthe CFSB Center. Reigning Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week Katelyn Young had 20 points with Alexis Burpo adding 10 as the Racers improved to 10-4 overall and 3-2 in Missouri Valley play.

The win was also the 650th in program history, the 200th in the CFSB Center and the first time Murray State has defeated Belmont at home since 2000.  Next up is a Sunday afternoon home date with Bradley.  Tip off is at 2 with pre game at 1:30 on WNBS.

Louisville’s struggles on the college basketball season continued after an 83-70 loss to Clemson.  The Cardinals have lost six in a row and are now 2-and-15.  They’ll host North Carolina on Saturday.

HS Basketball:   Murray High’s Lady Tigers travel to Mayfield to meet the Lady Cardinals in the semifinal round of the 1st Region All A Classic this evening.  Tip off is at 6 with pre game at 5:30 ib WNBS.

Calloway County’s boys meet DeSales in the quarterfinals of the Kentucky 2-A State Tournament tomorrow afternoon in the Owensboro SportsCenter.  Tip off is scheduled for 1:30 with pre game at 1:15 on 104.5 WBZB.

Meanwhile, the Lady Lakers are home to welcome Caldwell County tomorrow night at 6 with pregame at 5:45 also on WBZB.

NBA:  The Memphis Grizzlies’ win streak is still intact after a 135-129 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Memphis.  Ja Morant returned from a thigh injury and led all scorers with 38 points.  The Grizzlies return to action Saturday night at the Indiana Pacers.
