College Basketball:    The Louisville Cardinals got their first win of the season last night downing in-state rival Western Kentucky 94-83.  The Cards are now 1-9 on the season while the Hilltoppers fall to 8-2.

Murray State’s basketball teams are preparing for Friday night games.  The Racers host Austin Peay in the Battle of the Border game at 7 at the CFSB Center with pregame at 6:30 on Froggy 103.7.  The Racer women will be on the road at the University of Kentucky for a 6 pm tip off, with pregame at 5:30 on WNBS.

College Football:   Tennessee receiver Jalin Hyatt announced he’s entering the NFL draft and will skip the team’s Orange Bowl clash against Clemson.  The sixth-ranked Vols and Number-7 Tigers square off at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on December 30th.

MLB:   The St. Louis Cardinals may be getting priced out of the Carlos Rodon sweepstakes.  The Athletic is reporting that while the Cardinals remain interested in the free agent starting pitcher, Rodon’s current asking price is much higher than what St. Louis is willing to pay.  Rodon is reportedly seeking a seven-year contract worth around 200-million dollars, but St. Louis will likely only sign him if those figures drop significantly.

 NBA:  The Grizzlies will face a massive test tonight when the Milwaukee Bucks come to Memphis.  Memphis sits second in the West while Milwaukee holds the same position in the East.

NFL:  The San Francisco 49ers can clinch the NFC West Division title with a win over the rival Seahawks tonight in Seattle.
