HS Basketball:  Girls action saw Paducah Tilghman defeat Murray High 38-27.

Tonight’s Games:   Calloway County’s boys meet West Carroll (TN) in the Ken-Tenn Classic at the Jeffrey Gym.  Tipoff at 6:30 with pre game at 6:15 on WBZB.  Murray High’s boys are in action at Muhlenberg County. Also Calloway County’s girls play at Muhlenberg County.  The girls game of the twin bill tips off at 6

College Basketball:   Murray State is back in action tomorrow on the road at Bellarmine. The Racers are 5-3 on the season while the Knights are 4-6. Tip off at Freedom Hall in Louisville is at 3 pm with pre game coverage at 2:30 on Froggy 103.7.

College Football:   Kentucky running back Chris Rodriguez became the second player in as many days Thursday to announce his plans to skip the December 31at Music City Bowl game against Iowa and place his name in the NFL Draft.  Rodriguez-who leaves Kentucky as third in career rushing yards-joins quarterback Will Levis in announcing plans to skip the Music City Bowl.

Jeff Brohm was officially introduced as Louisville’s new football coach Thursday.  He replaces Scott Satterfield, who recently departed the Cardinals program to become head coach at the University of Cincinnati.  Brohm reportedly received a six year contract.

NFL: Two key players on the Tennessee Titans are dealing with injuries.  Jeffery Simmons missed yesterday’s practice with an ankle injury while Treylon Burks continues to be sidelined with a concussion.  Denico Autry, Tre Avery, Kristian Fulton and several others missed practice as well.  Tennessee welcomes the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday afternoon.
