College Basketball: Fourth ranked Kentucky suffered its first loss of the season as the Wildcats fell in double overtime to Michigan State 86-77 in the Champions Classic.

Elsewhere, Louisville is still winless on the season after their 61-60 loss to Appalachian State. The Cards are now 0-and-3. The Vanderbilt Commodores beat Temple 89-87 in overtime to claim their first win of the season. Vanderbilt is now 1-and-2.

In the Missouri Valley: Bradley downed Eastern Michigan 89-61.

Women’s action in the Valley: Missouri State topped Saint Louis 71-55 and Illinois State over St. Thomas (MN) 71-56.

Tonight in the Valley: Men’s games have Valparaiso at Chicago State, Evansville welcomes Southeast Missouri and Missouri State visits BYU.

Women’s play has Evansville hosting Chicago State, Valparaiso welcomes Eastern Illinois, Indiana State entertains Central Michigan, Northern Iowa hosts Iowa State, Southern Illinois entertains IUPUI, Belmont travels to Middle Tennessee, Bradley goes to Wisconsin and UIC welcomes Milwaukee.

The Murray State Racers are in Myrtle Beach, SC for the Myrtle Beach Invitational that begins tomorrow. The Racers meet Texas A&M in their opening game at 3 pm with pregame at 2:30 on Froggy 103.7.

College Soccer: Following its impressive run to the finals of the Missouri Valley Conference tournament, Murray State’s women’s team announced the signings of six players Tuesday. They are Hannah Carter-a defender from Bowling Green, Megan Jeremias-a forward from Collinsville, IL, Mackenna Murgatroyd-a forward from New Albany, OH, Ava Robinson- a forward from Crestwood, KY, Reagan Tate-a defender from Hendersonville, TN and Samanthat Wilson-a midfielder from St. Charles, MO.

College Volleyball: Murray State closes out regular season Missouri Valley Conference action on the road at Belmont this evening.
