NFL: The Tennessee Titans and the City of Nashville have reached an agreement to build a new stadium. The domed facility will be the new home of the Titans and is targeted for completion for the 2026 season. The two-point-one-billion-dollar stadium would be constructed on land east of Nissan Stadium which is currently a parking lot.

About 840-million-dollars would come from the Titans, 740-million from revenue bonds issued by the Metro Sports Authority and 500-million from the state. The only tax increase will be a one-percent tax on local hotel rooms to help pay for the stadium tab.
